A nearby coastal path winds around Portland’s miles of remote Jurassic Coastline, ideal for sea fishing, and within easy reach is the Georgian seaside town of Weymouth, with its Blue Flag beach, Sea Life centre and RSPB nature reserve.
Windsurfing, diving and yachting are popular in the area.

The house is lovely and comfortable a real home away from home. King Street is narrow not sure I would have got our car down there but the husband did, having the reserved parking was handy. Ruth gave us great ideas for sight seeing, places to eat and even dog friendly places, which made it more enjoyable.

Cottage was really lovely, very clean and spacious and home from home. Location great a few minutes walk to the beach. Owners were very accommodating and friendly and made sure everything was ok. We will definitely be returning - just perfect!

Feels very homely and in a lovely location. Off road parking is great as it’s very hard to find a spot that’s free and just a short walk to the famous chesil beach. Love this place and looking at visiting again next year for another great experience.
