Waterworld swimming pool, china factory tours, museums, steam railways, Alton Towers, Biddulph Grange Gardens and Little Moreton Hall (National Trust) are within 10 miles.
Canal fishing (licence required) and an adventure playground are also nearby (100 yards)..

Holly bush cottage was very good. Everything we needed was there. The neighbours were very friendly & helpful. The local pub The Holly Bush was welcoming & the food very good. Only a few steps away from the cottage. Lots of wonderful walks & interesting places to visit. We would recommend Holly Bush Cottage.

Booked this cottage for the location. Minutes from main road and amenities in Leek yet feels very rural. Lovely views of canal and countryside. Great pub next door. Walks from the door along towpath or disused railway line. Great value for money.

Beautiful little cottage, it has everything you could possibly need. Location is excellent and the neighbours are a gift from heaven.
We did not want to leave.
The pub along the road is an added bonus as you can take your dogs with you and the food is very good.
Hire a barge for the day as we did excellent.
Would I go again? Most definitely
