This listed 17th-century wing of a farmhouse has been refurbished in January 2020 with installation of a new kitchen, bathroom suite and central heating with radiators.
It is furnished to a very good standard and retains many period features including low beamed ceilings, open fireplace and traditional cottage stairs.
Now a commercial livery yard, the farm is in a rural position at the end of a country lane near Breadstone village, close to Berkeley Castle.
It provides an ideal base for a holiday visiting Slimbridge, the world famous Badminton Horse Trials, Cheltenham Gold Cup, Cheltenham racecourse, Gloucester and the Cotswolds.

Gezellig huisje met goed uitgeruste keuken. Heerlijke banken. Landelijke omgeving
Wij zijn vrij lang en konden niet overal rechtop staan maar dat was ook de charme van het huis. Bed vonden wij ook vrij smal voor twee personen. Wij waren er met kerst en het zou leuk geweest zijn als de eigenaar iets van versiering had. Maar nu dus helemaal niets.

Ruim huis, goede voorzieningen. Goede infomap + wifi+ smart TV. Op rijafstand het mooie Cottswold voor veel wandelroutes en in de buurt van Purton voor de rivier de Severn.
Geen directe wandelroutes vanaf locatie (maar 1 weg en 1 publiek ruiterpad) + hond mocht niet op erf van boerderij vanwege paarden. Ook public footpaths in nabije omgeving niet goede onderhouden waardoor niet te gebruiken. Kan de locatie niets aan doen, maar is wel een feit.

Bengough's Annexe is a wonderful cottage with all you need for a stay. The cottage is annexed to a farm building and has fab stone walls and original features. We were slightly worried that it may be cold, with it being February, but it was so lovely and cosy. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area.
