It is set in an AONB in the Dedham Vale where the artist John Constable painted many of his famous scenes.
Set in the owner’s grounds, with its own private area of garden, it is the ideal choice for a romantic break and is in an excellent area for walking and cycling.
The nearby Roman town of Colchester has an excellent range of shops, as well as a zoo and castle.
The peaceful Stour Estuary, Maningtree, and Mistley are a 6-minute drive, whilst London is less than an hour away by train.
An excellent location to explore all the delights of both Essex and Suffolk.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Glass House. A much appreciated welcome pack was waiting on our arrival. The location was good, only down side was the access through the garden to the entrance. The view of the alpacas in the paddock outside was a delight to wake up to. Overall a relaxing and enjoyable long weekend.

Stayed for 3 weeks. Luxury accommodation, very clean, well equipped, couldn’t ask for more.
