Dale Cottage is a luxury self catering cottage ideally located in the heart of Crantock village. The property has recently been extended downstairs to create a large kitchen dining area.
The three floored end of terrace has four bedrooms spread over two floors and separate dining and living rooms on the ground floor.
The cottage was built in the 19th Century and has been renovated and beautifully finished with cleverly co-ordinated soft furnishings enhancing family efficient layout.
The cottage exudes luxury and quality whilst having the character associated with the age of the property.
There is a lovely bright, cosy and welcoming feel, offering something for everyone. Dale Cottage has an enclosed garden making it ideal for dog owners or parties with small children. Due to its central village location, you are never more than a five minute walk away from two pubs, the church of St Carantoc, the village shop (with post office) and other village attractions. As well as this, Crantock’s legendary sandy beach is only a short walk away, making the cottage ideal for families, walkers and surfers alike.

Please note: this property requires a minimum stay of 3 nights. Strictly no arrivals on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Over three floors. Ground floor: Living room with log burner; Large kitchen diner. First floor: Three bedrooms: 1 x super king size double (zip/link can be 2 singles on request) and 2 x single, family bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Second floor: Double bedroom with en-suite shower, basin and WC (note there is no door to this bedroom at the top or bottom of the stairs). External Utility with a Washing Machine and Tumble Dryer. Underfloor heating in kitchen diner, all other rooms are heated by electric radiators, there is a wood burning stove in the lounge and electric water heater. Electric range oven with induction hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher, Smart TV and WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available. Off road parking for 2 cars at village hall car park (about 5 minutes walk up a hill). South facing garden with patio, table and chairs. Outdoor cold water sink and washing line. Two well behaved dogs welcome (there is a charge of £40 per pet at this property). Please note- Dogs are not allowed upstairs under any circumstances. No smoking. Shop and pub 0.2 miles. Please note: Due to the risk of fire from lithium batteries, items such as electric bikes and electric scooters (including batteries) must not be recharged or stored inside this property at any time

However, the property next door has right of access and may therefore request the gate is left open. This right is rarely used. Occasionally the gardener may need to visit during your stay. Note: arrival time is 4pm Note: Dale Cottage was built in the 19th Century and has the character associated with an older building. This includes low ceilings in many rooms and on the stairs and in particular very restricted head height on the top floor. There is no door to the top floor bedroom at the top or bottom of the stairs. Note: The property is not suitable for anyone with a disability. Note: The cooker has an induction hob and therefore may not be suitable for someone with a pacemaker. It will only work with pans suitable for an induction hob.
