Contemporary detached house located in the Isle of Portland, part of Jurassic coast, is an unusual two storey house with two bedrooms on the lower ground floor, perfect for families or couples.
There is an en-suite master bedroom with double bedroom and a separate bedroom.
Socialise in the sitting room by the fire or read a book. The pebbly beach is only a short walk away from the property with stunning views of West cliffs of the island on the left and stretching pebble beach towards Lyme Regis to the right. The sunsets are mesmerising in this area.
Explore the Isle of Portland by taking the South West Coast path circling the whole island. You will visit the beautiful Church Ope Cove with Rufus castle and XIII century church ruins, three lighthouses with the popular Portland Bill. The island is a heaven for birdwatcher and wildlife lovers.
Visit Quiddles café at the end of the promenade on Chesil beach for a crab sandwich or fresh fish dish. The nearby Cove House Inn is famous for traditional pub food and ales.
St John’s View will suit those who enjoy water sports with National Sailing Academy being close-by. The seaside town of Weymouth is only a few minutes’ drive from the property too with long sandy beach and various beach attractions for children and adults alike. You can take a walk to Weymouth and take a bus ride home.
The property’s location with beautiful views and modern accommodation will give you a seaside holiday to remember.

St Johns View is a contemporary detached house situated in Fortuneswell in Portland in Dorset with sea views. The house can sleep 4 people in king-size double with en-suite shower and double bedrooms as well as a family bathroom. The rest of the house is made up of a fitted kitchen/diner and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. To the outside of the house is off road parking for 2 cars and a lawned garden with furniture. St Johns View is suitable for families or groups who enjoy water sports. Note: max 4 people.

St John's View was a real 'home from home', exceptionally well equipped and with everything we needed for a short week of sailing tuition for our son at Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy. The location was perfect, the accommodation, parking and garden suited us exceptionally well. We hope to be back soon.

This was our second stay and we had a lovely holiday despite the heatwave. We love the church clock, mentioned on the website, and slept very well in the cool & spacious bedrooms. The parking needs care but is fine. There's plenty to see & do. It's our favourite of all the holiday cottages (30 or more) that we've stayed in. Thank you for a great holiday.

We enjoyed staying in this house. It was spacy, well equiped and nicely located in the village. Perfect location for visiting Portland, Weymouth and the Jurassic Coast of Dorset. We will definitely book this house if we visit Dorset again.
