Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.. Enclosed courtyard with garden furniture.

Please note: There is a turning staircase to the first floor.. Welcome to Pitcairn Cottage, a charming, fully double-glazed Lakeland stone cottage built in 1892, offering a comfortable and practical base in central Keswick.
The recent upgrade, including the addition of an en suite bathroom on the first floor, makes the cottage particularly well-suited to small groups and families.
Located on a quiet residential street just off the town centre, you can leave the car behind and explore Keswick on foot.
Shops, cafés, pubs, restaurants and supermarkets are all within a short walk, along with Derwentwater and a wide range of outdoor activities.
Keswick is a vibrant Lakeland market town with plenty to see and do. There are two supermarkets within walking distance, along with parks offering children’s play areas, mini-golf, tennis and weekly parkruns.
Indoor attractions such as the Theatre by the Lake, the Retro Zone Museum, Puzzling Place and the Derwent Pencil Museum are also close by. Nearby Derwentwater offers lakeside walks, boat hire and beautiful scenery.
The area is ideal for walking, running and cycling, with routes from the door including Cat Bells, Skiddaw and Latrigg.
For days out further afield, visit Bassenthwaite Lake and The Lake District Wildlife Park (approx. 8 miles), or The Lakes Distillery for tours and tastings.
The beach at St Bees and the city of Carlisle are both just under an hour away.
This property can also be booked together with the adjacent Pitcairn House (UK41255) to accommodate up to 18 guests, subject to availability.
Please note: The staircase to the first floor is slightly narrow and has a tight turn.

Situated in the heart of Keswick nearby to all the amenities a very well maintained and clean cottage and a most welcome little gift pack which was much appreciated. We enjoyed the cottage and the surrounding area with many walks on the doorstep. Overall a great stay.

Cottage was small but perfect for a small family getaway. Host was very helpful and responded to questions and queries very quickly. Location is literally a 2 minute walk from town centre and ideally located.

This cottage was really cosy for 2 of us. We didn't use the second bedroom so we stayed on the ground floor for the trip.
The cottage felt secure and there was no outdoor noise.
Parking was absolutely fine but we did go off season.
