Wonderful idyll at Cetara - Mini apartment with 70s charm and garden

Fährt man die Amalfiküste von Sorrent nach Salerno entlang, kommt man an dem kleinen Cetara nicht vorbei. Die idyllische Ortschaft mit gerade einmal 2000 Bewohnern ist berühmt für die dort traditionell hergestellte "Colatura di Alici di Cetara", eine würzige Soße aus Sardellen.

Biegt man, kurz nach Cetara, von der Küstenstraße ab, gelangt man über eine bergauf führende Anliegerstraße, an der sich auch ein ruhig gelegener, kostenfreier Parkplatz befindet, zur kleinen Ferienwohnung Casetta Mauro.

Das Miniappartement mit privatem Eingang liegt im Erdgeschoss des Hauses. Im 1. Stock befindet sich die Ferienwohnung Casa Aliberti, im 2. Stock die Ferienwohnung La Casa del Capitano. Der sympathische Vermieter der Wohnungen lädt gern zu Bootstouren ein und verteilt ortskundige Tipps an Interessierte.

MINIAPPARTEMENT MIT 70er JAHRE CHARME FÜR BIS ZU 4 PERSONEN
Die Casetta Mauro besticht mit ihrem Charme, der durch zwei alte Flipperautomaten, eine Jukebox, eine antike Schreibmaschine und zierliche Holzmöbel geschaffen wird.

Der untere, durch große Fenster sehr helle Teil des Apartments ist offen gestaltet. Hier finden Sie eine kleine Küchennische und einen Wohn-/Essbereich mit gemütlichem Sofa...und nicht zu vergessen die Flipperautomaten und die Jukebox!

Die Küchennische ist zwar klein, aber ausreichend ausgestattet zum Zubereiten von Frühstück oder kleineren Mahlzeiten. Das Sofa im Wohnbereich kann auch als Schlafsofa (1-2 Personen) genutzt werden.

Über eine Treppe erreicht man die geräumige Galerie mit Doppelbett. Im oberen Bereich befindet sich auch das Bad. Von der Treppe zur Galerie erreicht man den möblierten Außenbereich, eine wunderschöne grüne Ecke, die ein Maximum an Privatsphäre bietet und zum Verweilen auf den einen oder anderen Aperitif einlädt.

Das Haus befindet sich 3 km von Cetara und 4 km von Vietri sul Mare entfernt. Es ist gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Eine Bushaltestelle befindet sich direkt unterhalb des Hauses. Gegen eine Gebühr kann man einen Shuttleservice von oder nach Cetara buchen.

Driving along the Amalfi Coast from Sorrento to Salerno, you simply cannot miss Cetara, an idyllic, small town with merely 2,000 inhabitants. It is well-known for and looks back upon a very long tradition of its "Colatura di Alici di Cetara", a spicy sauce made from anchovies.

Turning off the coastal road shortly after Cetara and following an uphill residents-only road takes you to holiday apartment Casetta Mauro. There is a free-of-charge parking space for your car in a quiet spot along the residential road.

Small Casetta Mauro is located on the ground floor of a 3-storey house and has of course got a separate entrance. On the 1st floor lies holiday apartment Casa Aliberti, on the 2nd floor holiday apartment La Casa del Capitano. The friendly owner of the apartments loves boat tours and is happy to take you along, he also passes on (local) tips to those interested.

SMALL APARTMENT WITH 70s CHARM FOR UP TO 4 PERSONS
Casetta Mauro radiates a special charm, which is due not least to two old pin-ball machines, a jukebox, an old typewriter and delicate wooden furniture.

The lower part of the apartment is open-plan with large windows to let in as much light as possible. There is a small compact kitchen unit in a nook, which is sufficiently equipped with what you might need to prepare breakfast and small meals, and a living-dining area with a cozy sofa, which can be turned into a bed for 1-2 persons, ... and let's not forget the pin-ball machines and the jukebox!

Stairs run up to the spacious gallery with double bed. The bathroom (shower/WC/bidet, hair dryer) is also located on this level. The apartment features WiFi, air conditioning, TV and fly screens.

A few steps up the stairs to the gallery, a door opens onto the furnished outdoor area, which is a wonderful green 'corner', offers the privacy you wish for and invites you to linger and maybe enjoy an aperitif or two.

Casetta Mauro is 3 km from Cetara and 4 km from Vietri sul Mare. It is easy to reach by car, which is very convenient, there is, however, also a bus stop on the road right below the house. For a fee you can book a shuttle service from or to Cetara.
