In the heart of the Vallespir, you'll be close to the magnificent Lake St Jean Pla de Corts, equipped with water games, and not far from the charming town of Céret with its internationally renowned Museum of Modern Art.
Near Spain, the closest beaches are in Argelès-sur-Mer.
The village of Las Illas is very popular with walkers, thanks to its local trails as well as the long-distance hiking routes that connect the Mediterranean to the Atlantic.
Mushroom and chestnut picking are possible during the season.
To reach Las Illas, there are no main roads, but rather a typical rural French road, the D13, which is very well maintained.
This cottage includes: a fully equipped kitchen with fridge-freezer, gas hob, microwave, private washing machine, toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker, and TV, opening onto the living room with access to a lovely terrace overlooking the surrounding countryside, furnished with garden furniture. 2 bedrooms: First bedroom: 1 double bed (140x190cm) Second bedroom: 2 single beds (90x190cm) Large private parking area.

Gite impeccable, au calme, perché a 600m d'altitude, propriétaires très sympathiques.ideal pour randonneurs. Seul point noir, le gîte se situe à 10 kms du centre de maureillas,il faut effectuer 20 mns de lacets dans la montagne pour y accéder.

Le logement est conforme au descriptif. La première chose qui saute aux yeux en arrivant est la propreté des lieux. Les enfants peuvent profiter de la nature environnante en toute sécurité. Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins sans être envahissants. Bref un superbe séjour en famille.

Nous avons passé un séjour agréable dans ce gîte très propre et bien aménagé. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les propriétaires discrets et bienveillants. La route qui mène à la maison est très bien entretenue. Proche de Céret, des plages et de l'Espagne ce gîte est idéal pour les amoureux de calme et de nature.
