A warm welcome awaits you :) ## Emplacement Close to the coast, Cogolin is a picturesque Provencal village built on the slopes of the Maures massif. With a very mild climate all year round, Cogolin is one of the few communes in the Var department that slowly stretches from the land to the shores of the Mediterranean. Life developed around its fortified enclosure, located in the upper part where still dominates the Clock Tower.
This is the remnant of one of the entrances to the wall.
This defensive system included the houses and the seigneurial castle.
