Mas de L’Olivette is a charming sanctuary located near a traditional Hérault village, just a stone's throw from the handsome city of Montpellier. The five attractive bedrooms offer space and privacy. On the ground floor, two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and king-size beds (one of which can be configured as a twin) are complemented by a third bedroom with a queen-size double. Upstairs, two more bedrooms with queen-size beds share a bathroom, allowing Mas de L’Olivette to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests.
Outside, the expansive garden provides plenty of room to relax and enjoy the surroundings. A large dining terrace with a barbecue is ideal for al-fresco meals, while the tennis court and swimming pool promise hours of fun when spending time with family or friends.
Located in a picturesque residential area, the villa is a 20-minute walk or short cycle/drive from the local village, which boasts a bakery, butcher, pizza restaurant and twice-weekly market, as well as a beautiful 11th-century church in the old quarter. Fly to Montpellier-Méditerranée Airport (18km) or take the fast train to Montpellier Saint-Roch with TGV arrivals from Paris, Brussels and Barcelona.
It’s around a 20-minute walk or a short cycle ride/drive along local roads/pathways to a small, traditional Hérault village with a butchers, pharmacy, pizza restaurant and a twice-weekly weekly market. There is also a bakery for fresh bread, pastries and cakes in another part of the village. The old part of the hilltop village is home to a beautiful church dating back to the 11th century where music concerts occasionally take place. There are further amenities and large supermarkets within a 5 to 10-minute drive.
A short drive takes you to Montpellier, a vibrant city with a perfect blend of historic charm and modern sophistication.
