Oakwood Lodge is a beautifully designed couples’ retreat, set in a peaceful lakeside location and created for pure relaxation.
Perfect for two, this stylish hideaway offers luxury, comfort and a truly memorable escape from everyday life. Inside, the lodge features a spacious open-plan living, kitchen and dining area, thoughtfully laid out for cosy nights in. The well-equipped kitchen includes everything you need for relaxed dining, while the comfortable lounge area with large flat-screen TV is ideal for unwinding together.
A separate WC adds convenience. The stunning master bedroom suite is a true highlight, featuring a king-size bed with a feature padded headboard, a freestanding bath and a walk-in shower, creating a boutique hotel feel within your own private retreat.
A dressing table, hanging rail and storage space complete the space. Step outside onto your private lakeside patio and discover something truly special.

These lodges are always very clean, unfortunately this visit was spoiled by the smell of dog, especially on the sofa. I know it is a pet lodge, but I have stayed in several of the pet lodges, even though I don't have a pet myself, and never had the smell of dog before.We also had a small invasion of ants in the bathroom, which we managed to control with some ant spray that was provided.

The lodge had everything you possibly needed for a great stay. We felt like it was nice and secluded so you weren’t overlooked when in the hot tub and the extra bonus of seeing the ducks everyday was the highlight for our children.

We had a lovely break . The cabin was well equipped and very clean . The surroundings were lovely , ducks wanting feeding whilst we were relaxing in the hot tub . The staff where very good led by Gerry . 🤓
