Cocoonr agency offers this 61 m² flat with mountain view in Ancizan, which sleeps up to 8 people for rent.
Located on the ground floor, it comprises a pretty 35 m² living room, a fitted kitchen, two bedrooms, a shower room and a private garden of around 80 m². Wifi, bed linen and towels included, we're waiting for you!
The accommodation comprises
- 35 m² living room with TV, double sofa bed and dining area
- A fully-equipped kitchen with electric kettle, oven, toaster, dishwasher, hob, etc.
- Bedroom 1: with a double bed (140×190)
- Bedroom 2: with a three-part bunk bed, a single bed above (accessed by a ladder), a double bed below and a single pull-out bed below (sleeps 4)
- Bathroom with shower
- Separate WC
For even greater comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: barbecue, high chair, washing machine, cot, iron and ironing board.
Outside:
- A 14 m² south-facing terrace with picnic table to enjoy the fine weather.
- An enclosed, private, south-facing garden of 80 m².
A privileged location in the heart of the Pyrenees.
Ancizan is a small listed mountain village in the Hautes-Pyrénées, nestling in the Aure valley between Arreau and Saint-Lary-Soulan.
A former fortified village, it offers a typically Pyrenean landscape: forests, high pastures, streams and old stone houses.
A supermarket with petrol station is close to the gîte, and numerous shops are less than 7 minutes away (in Arreau and Saint-Lary-Soulan).
Activities
- Close to four ski resorts: Saint-Lary-Soulan, Val Louron, Peyragudes and Piau-Engaly.
- Cycling fans will love the Tour de France, the Route d'Occitanie and the Étape du Tour.
Col du Tourmalet (1 h), Col d'Aspin (25 min), Hourquette d'Ancizan (30 min).
- Places of interest: Pic du Midi de Bigorre (1 h), Troumouse and Gavarnie cirques, Néouvielle massif, Lac d'Arou, Lac de Payolle, Lac de l'Oule, Château de Mauvezin.
- Towns and villages to discover : Arreau, Saint-Lary-Soulan, Bagnères-de-Bigorre, Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges, Lourdes (approx. 1 h) Bayonne (2h15).
- Numerous activities depending on the season:
in winter: skiing, dog-sledding, snowshoeing, sledging, snowtubing ;
in spring and summer: hiking, cycling/ mountain biking, wildlife park, tree climbing, axe throwing, archery, etc.
- Thrills: canoeing, rafting, canyoning, parachuting, paragliding.
- Thermal baths and spas nearby: Saint-Lary, Loudenvielle and Capvern.
Transportation:
If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the flat's private car park (a small to medium-sized vehicle).

- Nearest train station: Lannemezan, approximately 30 km away
- Nearest airport: Toulouse-Blagnac, about 150 km away
