Two tube stations sit an equally short walk from the building, Gloucester Road and South Kensington, each around five minutes away on foot, with Earl's Court a little further for those who don't mind an extra stretch of the legs.
Both stations run the District, Circle and Piccadilly lines, so getting across central London from here is quick and direct in either direction. Few areas of London pack in as much to see and do within walking distance as South Kensington. Guests can spend a whole day moving between the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum without needing to travel far at all, before winding down in Hyde Park or Kensington Gardens. When it comes to eating out, Daquise is a longstanding, relaxed spot for Polish classics just by the station, Ognisko offers a smarter Polish dining experience inside the Polish Hearth Club, and Yashin Ocean House on Old Brompton Road is known for its inventive sushi. Those after a pub instead will find The Anglesea Arms and The Zetland Arms both close by and full of character, with The Hereford Arms a further option towards Gloucester Road. Thurloe Street and Old Brompton Road round things off with a good mix of independent cafes and boutiques for wandering between sights.
